Music inspired by art, poetry, and dance, featuring choral works by Custer, Gifford, and Hagenberg and orchestral works by Debussy, Mussorgsky, and Warlock.
This chamber concert will explore music inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night and Seurat's A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. Poetry by Sara Teasdale, William Butler Yeats, and Stéphane Mallarmé. Through Capriol Suite we will explore various types of dances.
